Right off the bat, be prepared to equip this device with a hefty 12 AA batteries, surely not the lightest, though you can opt for fewer for shorter durations.
Its photo and video quality? Decently crisp at 1080P, making wildlife and weather scenes look quite cinematic. Installing it is a bit of a faff, especially for us impatient folk, and the weight feels like I’m carrying my DSLR with a hefty lens. However, once settled, this camera diligently buzzes on, immortalising days into minutes.
For nighttime or gloomy day shoots, the LED feature is incredibly useful. Yet, bear in mind, it’s a hands-on experience, getting the perfect focus can be fiddly without remote access.
Despite a bit of a learning curve, it's a handy tool for anyone with patience for time-lapse adventures.

In the settings, select the shooting picture mode, then you can shoot pictures in JPG format, and you can generate time-lapse video by editing yourself according to the pictures.
But for the time-lapse video in AVI format which has been finished shooting, it can't be re-adjusted to a single-frame picture. If this is the need, you can look for some third-party software to see if it can be achieved.

The sufficient power of 12 alkaline batteries can make the time-lapse camera use for 6 months. If you just want the time-lapse camera to operate normally in a short period of time, 4 brand new alkaline batteries can turn on our machine. Please note that you must never use rechargeable batteries, which will affect the normal use of the machine. Hope our answer can solve your doubts.
